Appellate Challenge to
Our Client's Attorney Fee Award
  
Back in 2010, partner Sandra Calin won a defense trial verdict when homeowners sued our client, a homeowners association. Our client was awarded almost $600,000 in attorney fees and costs as the prevailing party.  Plaintiffs appealed.  Our Respondent's Brief was co-authored by attorney Elizabeth Beckman.
  
The Court of Appeal recently released its tentative ruling, which is to affirm both the verdict and the attorney fee award. Oral argument has been requested, so the outcome is still pending. Click here to read more about this matter.
