WasteCap Moved, Phone Number Changes
Moving

WasteCap Nebraska just moved offices.  Our new address is 610 "J" Street, Suite 300, Lincoln, NE 68508.

In conjunction with our move, WasteCap also upgraded phone systems.  You can still reach us at our main lines: (402) 436-2384 or toll-free at (888)-392-7839, but we've replaced our other phone lines with direct extensions.

Find out more about our move and what our direct extensions are by clicking here

Annual Member Outreach Visits

WasteCap will begin scheduling annual outreach visits with members in the coming weeks.  This is a great opportunity to learn about WasteCap Nebraska's new programs and expanded membership benefits, and for us to learn about your goals for the coming year.  The visit takes about an hour or so depending on the size of the organization.

This year, we have added an On-site Waste Review to our scheduled visit.  Different from a full waste assessment, the Review gives our members a chance to have a WasteCap staff person walk around the facility with them to see if they have any immediate recommendations for new recycling and waste reduction practices, sustainability initiatives or to identify some resources for hard-to-recycle materials.

If you would like to schedule a specific meeting time, or have a special need that needs to be addressed quickly, please call our office at 402-436-2384 and we will schedule a time to meet with you.

We look forward to meeting with you soon!

WasteCap Nebraska is launching a new initiative to provide educational assistance, recognize achievements and create a vibrant network of businesses in Nebraska that are on a sustainable path. We are seeking businesses that wish to accelerate their education about sustainable business practices to participate in a half-day "Strive Towards Sustainability" workshop and/or to take part in an in-depth pilot program with the goal of creating a sustainability plan and corporate infrastructure that is capable of attaining a "Nebraska Green Business Certification".  WasteCap is hosting two Certification workshops in January.
