Missions
Prayer Request
Please pray for Dr. Dave Reed, Ken Kaiser and the medical team as they are at the John Dau Clinic in South Sudan Dec. 11-19 with a Eye Surgery Team. You can pray for the following:
- Success of the medical mission, examining over 300 patients in a remote setting with vision problems. Patients from 3 conflicting tribes will be transported in. Pray that this offer of medical care to the conflicting tribes will be peaceful, the beginning of reconciliation between the tribes and received well. Pray too that the American team would be full of compassion, empathy and patience.
- Safety for the patients, medical team and support staff as they travel, sleep and work in rugged environments
- Team dynamics: opportunities for spiritual conversations and growth would be abundant and seized.
- Families at home that will miss these guys for two weeks prior to Christmas.
