The committee is hard at work planning the 125th Columbus Day Commemoration & Parade! Buy your raffle ticket and brunch tickets early! (Email Nancy Azzaro here for brunch info). A series of events is planned for the October 1-4 weekend, including the annual parade, bocce tournament, 5K race and the NEW Madonnari Arts Festival.  This latter FREE event will feature street art, outdoor music and live performances.   • Kaiser Permanente will be opening a new center at the gateway to Little Italy in the space at Pratt & President formerly occupied by Office Depot. "We are looking forward to becoming a strong and committed community member in Little Italy," said Lisa R. Adkins, Senior Director, Strategy & Market Development. "As part of Kaiser Permanente's community effort, we want to create a solid relationship with the Little Italy community." Kaiser has already generously committed to sponsoring the Little Italy Open Air Film Fest and is interested in also sponsoring Saint Leo's Feast of Saint Gabriele Italian Festival in August.
