Month
August: Annual Charity Auction for Women's Health Issues

If you are your small group have any items for the auction, send a short description and a photo to kariadne@mac.com in the next couple of days. Look for next week's newsletter with all the photos and details on drop-off and bidding!

Mall in the Hall

Have you had that wonderful dream where you walked into a room full of items for quilters? There was fabric, books, kits, quilt tops, and lots of tools. All were on sale for ridiculously low prices? Then the time for dreams to come true is waiting for you at the August Mall in the Hall.

The other wonderful dream is of a sewing area with everything organized and no clutter. All the unused books, tools, and other clutter are gone. This dream can come closer to reality if you take all those unused tools, unwanted books, and those "I wonder why I bought this" items to the August Mall in the Hall. Your sewing area will look better and you will be passing these items on to someone else. And you will be helping the Guild charities in the process.

Please price the items you bring with garage sale prices. Bring them to the Fellowship Hall around 5:00 Auction Night. My small groups, Sew What and Bitsy Chicks, will be there to help you find the right area for your items.

If an item is worth more than $50, then prepare it for the live auction in the sanctuary. Please do not bring magazines.

Last year we made over $3000 at Mall in the Hall. With your help, we can do that again. If you have questions, I will be out at the tables.
