Bring the family for a day of raptor fun at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, as we host our 13th Annual Eagle Festival on Saturday, March 9.
The Eagle Festival is our most popular event of the year and will run from 8am to 4pm on Saturday. All events are free.
Activities include live birds of prey, Wildlife Drive tours, bald eagle tours, a guided Harriet Tubman walk, as well as fun events for the kids such as wildlife crafts, a youth archery range, and a BB gun safety demonstration.
Visitors will also get to see video of our new eaglets from the Blackwater NWR
Eagle Cam where we currently have the first of three eaglets hatching in the nest.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the Festival, and events will be held rain or shine.
