Beaumont, Texas - City of Beaumont and Drainage District 6 crews will be making repairs in the area over the next several days. Schedules for maintenance and repairs are subject to change, including extensions and postponement, due to weather or other factors. Motorists are asked to be aware of all detour signs and advance warnings, and to proceed with caution.  

Road Closure: El Paso Street between E. Lucas Drive and Wilson Street

Drainage District 6 crews will close El Paso Street between East Lucas Dr. and Wilson Street for approximately one week, beginning Thursday, Oct. 10. Crews will be making drainage improvements. The road will be closed to through-traffic, but open to local traffic.

Lane Closure: Highway 69/96 (Eastex Freeway) between Lucas and the LNVA Canal
City of Beaumont crews will close the northbound inside lane on a portion of Eastex Freeway between Lucas Drive and the LNVA Canal, on Sunday, Oct. 13, for freeway lighting repairs. The one-day closure is expected to occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
