Beaumont, Texas - City of Beaumont crews will be performing maintenance work on a portion of E. Lucas Drive over the next two weeks. Sections of the road will be taken down to two lanes for the duration of the work, which is scheduled to take place each day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

The work will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 29, and run through Friday, Feb. 8. During that time, crews will mill and overlay asphalt on E. Lucas from the railroad tracks west of Helbig Road to the north frontage road east of Highway 69.

 

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and observe warning signs and barricades when traveling in the area.
