Greetings!
We're heading east! For many years, wonderful people have traveled from the east GTA to study with us at our beautiful space downtown. Now we'd like to make it easy for our eastern practitioners to invite their friends to share a little NLP. On November 4, Ron Vereggen and I will kick off our plans for Durham with a seminar in support of the Children's Aid Foundation of Durham. The seminar is on Changing Attitudes. I wonder if you've ever struggled with other people's bad attitudes. Whether the problem is the difference between generations, misunderstandings, or simply a bad mood, attitude often gets in the way of what we want or how we want to achieve it. Fortunately, good attitudes can be as contagious as bad ones and NLP is a great way to spread good attitudes so you can focus on getting the results you want. It's always a delight to watch as a new practitioner class begins to understand that they can influence their own moods and change the attitudes of the people around them. If you'd like a taste, come on November 4. If you're ready to make a difference, you have one more chance to become an NLP practitioner before 2013. Our final practitioner course of the year runs Nov 10/11 and 17/18 and 24/25. Because I have a heavy work load this month, registration for this course will close at 7 participants. Email or call Carole at 416-928-2394 before we fill up! |
Gifted Learning
| | John Dafos
Gifted Learning exists because I want to motivate learners to do and be their best. As a teacher in the Toronto District School Board, I realize that acing a test, quiz, or project is important. I also realize that it isn't the only thing. Having the self-awareness and personal motivation to compete in our rapidly evolving, highly competitive world is now - more than ever - the difference every learner will need to succeed. Gifted Learning is a unique synthesis of academic tutoring and motivational coaching designed to accelerate success for every learner. Gifted Learning is for every type of learner, of any ability - those with learning challenges, those who excel, and everyone in between. My greatest hope is to have every learner who works with us feeling better about themselves and their capabilities, and their unique role in the world. John Dafos is a gifted educator and speaker who is currently an NLP Master Practitioner and a member of our Training Practitioner program.

In our first course in Durham, Ron Vereggen and Linda Ferguson will show you how a little NLP can go a long way in changing attitudes. You'll learn the three keys to influencing better attitudes so that you can be more relaxed and more productive. We'll be hosting this seminar at the beautiful UOIT campus.
There will be no charge for this 3 hour seminar, but donations to the Durham Children's Aid Foundation are strongly encouraged. Please call 416-928-2394 or email here to register.

When you look at the banner at the top of this email, what do you see? Some people will notice bright blue sky on the other side of bright, beautiful colours. Others will look and see only that colder, darker days are coming.
If it were easy to notice the good stuff, you'd already be doing it. Did you know there's a correlation between optimism and success? If you need a little push to notice the brightness ahead, please contact us for training or coaching. We work with our clients to make training affordable and accessible.
Enjoy the bright skies of October,
Linda Ferguson, Ph.D. Senior Partner NLP Canada Training Inc. |
