Supervisors Meeting Minutes Available Online
At the July regular public meeting the Moon Township Board of Supervisors presented a proclamation to Boy Scout, Joshua W. Merow on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, an honor earned by only five percent of all Boy Scouts.  Merow is a member of Boy Scout Troop 310 and earned 23 total merit badges. Merow held the leadership positions of Librarian, Web Master Aide, Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Instructor, Assistant Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. His Eagle Scout Service Project involved a landscape architecture project at Sharon Community Presbyterian Church where he led a group of scouts and adults in the design, planning, excavation, planting and final landscaping of over 30 pine trees to create a scenic barrier between the church parking lot and a school tennis court.
