Coach Bill Thorn To Be Honored At Tonight's Hawks Game
Tonight, the Atlanta Hawks organization are honoring the Peachtree Road Race at their game vs. the Portland Trailblazers.  Included in the night's festivities will be a moment to honor Bill Thorn for his legacy with the race. For those of you who don't know, this 82-years young man is the only person to have run in every single Peachtree Road Race since it began in 1970.  This means that last July, Coach Thorn ran his 43rd race!  Tonight's game will be shown on Fox Sports South and we hope you will tune in.  We don't know how much of the evening's events will be broadcast but you may catch a glimpse of Coach Thorn and his family as he is honored for his legacy with the Peachtree Road Race. The pregame broadcast begins at 7 pm and the game follows at 7:30.
Landmark's 7th Annual Golf Tournament - April 26
Make plans now to play in Landmark's 7th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, April 26, at The Coweta Club at Arbor Springs Plantation in Newnan.  All proceeds benefit the athletic programs at Landmark.  Prizes will be awarded for longest drives, closest to the pins, and to the winning team.  There will be a raffle, great auction items, and breakfast and lunch will be provided for all tournament players.  Don't have a foursome? No worries, we'll team you up with other participants.  This promises to be a great day of golf so we hope to see you there!  To print off a registration form, click here For more information, please contact Jerome Clark at varnadoe_clark@bellsouth.net or at 678-898-4401.

Service

Peachtree City campus K5 student, Isabella Large turned six on March 7. During her Bible class, Mrs. Henry told the class about a service project for children in Honduras and explained how they could help by bringing a $5.00 donation for school supplies. Isabella wanted to do more. So she asked her parents if she could get her friends to bring donations for Honduras to her party rather than gifts. After okaying this with Mrs. Henry, that's exactly what she did! Instead of getting presents, Isabella collected and donated $105.00 for school supplies for the children in Honduras. She is one little girl with a big heart! Isabella enjoys learning, playing soccer, and helping others! Way to go Isabella!
