Landmark's 7th Annual Golf Tournament - April 26
Make plans now to play in Landmark's 7th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, April 26, at The Coweta Club at Arbor Springs Plantation in Newnan.  All proceeds benefit the athletic programs at Landmark.  Prizes will be awarded for longest drives, closest to the pins, and to the winning team.  There will be a raffle, great auction items, and breakfast and lunch will be provided for all tournament players.  Don't have a foursome? School Store Sale Items:  
 
In order to make room for new and exciting merchandise, the schools store is selling the Under Armour shirts shown here at a discount.  Regularly priced Adult Shirts were $29.99 and are now $20. Youth sizes were $24.99 and are now $18.  Visit the school store today before they are all gone!
 

Order Your Graduate Yard Sign Today!
The school store will sell graduation yard signs for parents of seniors. The personalized yard signs will feature the Landmark logo, student name, and "Class of 2013". The signs are double-sided and mounted on a metal stand.  Each sign is $20 and must be ordered by March 20.  They will be available for pick-up on April 15.  Click here for an order form or for more information, please contact Susan Miner at sminer@landmark-cs.org.

"Lost and Found" Sale! March 20, 7:30 - 9:30 am/ Fairburn Cafeteria  

      

Shoes, and belts, and lunch boxes...oh my! It must be time for the Lost and Found Sale! On Wednesday, March 20, all items not claimed from lost and found will be sold to benefit the Landmark Parent Association.  The sale will take place in the cafeteria from 7:30 to 9:30 am.  There is an unusually large inventory this year so parents and students are urged to visit the lost and found closet in the cafeteria to see if they may locate missing items. From March 13 - April 2 parents can go to www.scholastic.com/fair for ordering books that will be shipped to our school for FREE upon returning from Spring Break.  All purchases made online will benefit Landmark.

Registration and payment deadline for the May science department Grand Canyon trip has been extended.  The trip is open to any high school student and information may be found here.  The price of the trip is guaranteed until April 1.  After that the price may go up.  For more information, please email Vince Cobb at vcobb@landmark-cs.org.

Spring Talent Show Auditions: Wednesday, March 13 - Middle and high school students, Tuesday, March 19 - Elementary students

Auditions will take place in The Studio beside the Black Box Theatre.  Sign up and get audition information packets outside of Mr. Johnson's room or click the links below.  Peachtree City families may contact Cindy Perkins to schedule an audition at (770) 692-6781 or cperkins@landmark-cs.org.  The talent show and auction is Friday, April 12 at 6 pm at Dogwood Church in Tyrone.  *** If you have a specialty service, unique gift item, tickets to an event, or getaway at a vacation home that you would be willing to donate to the auction, please contact Don Johnson or Judi Knight.***

Congratulations!

Congratulations to our fifth grade spelling bee participants! Travis Powell finished 3rd and John Nygren 4th. Overall in the 5-8 grade spell-off John Nygren placed 2nd.

Middle school tennis is off to a fast start! We have already played two matches and have our third match Thurs with Heritage Academy in Newnan. Some great wins have come from Marshall Breit, John Bonner, Will O'Neal, Micah Burdette, Luke Turkiewicz, and Will Clark.

Juniors:  Remember that Spring is a great time to begin college visits.  Remember you are allowed two visits during your junior year.  Many schools have spring preview days, information can be found on the websites of the schools.

Seniors:  Please remember to turn in any college acceptances and/or scholarships that you receive.  Remember acceptances will not be placed on the senior wall without letters turned into guidance.
