Two Landmark cheerleaders were selected as UCA All American cheerleaders this summer at UCA camp in Destin, Fl. Karissa McFadden, 8th grade middle school cheerleader, and Sarah Morris, 9th grade JV cheerleader, both participated in the Thanksgiving Day parade at Disney World in Orlando, Florida over the Thanksgiving break.

Call for volunteers:The Landmark Parent Association (LPA) is in need of volunteers to help set up and serve at the All Faculty/Staff Christmas Fellowship on Tuesday, December 11 at First Baptist Church of Fairburn. Setup will begin at 2 pm. Servers are needed from 3:15 to 5:00 pm. Any time you can serve on this day is greatly appreciated. To volunteer, please contact LPA President, Laurie Gustafson at ltgustafson@gmail.com by next Friday.

Class NewsTwenty-five students and adults delivered 127 Thanksgiving boxes to families in need in Fairburn and Union City over the break . The students had a terrific time together, serving our neighbors through their gifts of food and encouragement. Reed McGuire and Kierstin Cusumano, Senior Service Prefects, agreed that this year's turnout was the best it's been in a number of years. "It was great to see the Landmark Family bringing hope and joy to my neighbors. They told me later that they were very grateful for the food and for the kindness shown to them," said Kierstin. The next opportunity for Landmark families to serve our immediate community will be the Campbell Christmas outreach. This provides a Christmas shopping experience for 50 children from Campbell Elementary. "A lot of our high school students are looking forward to being involved in the shopping day this year," said Reed McGuire.

LET'S DANCE! The Spring Musical Pre-Show
This year's spring musical is Oklahoma! The musical pre-show is an opportunity for K4-6th graders to experience the audition and performance experience of musical theater. For more information and to reserve and audition time slot, please contact Jo Ann Smith Nelson at jadealeksei@yahoo.com. The deadline to reserve an audition slot is Monday, December 3. Auditions will take place on Wednesday, December 5 from 4:00 - 6:00pm. You may pick up audition materials in the elementary office of either campus.

The Christmas Choral Concert will be held at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church on Tuesday December 4h, 2012 at 7:00 pm. The students are required to arrive in their concert attire by 5:30 PM the evening of the concert. Please do not be late. We will open the doors for seating at 6:45 pm. Please invite your friends and extended family to join us for the evening. If you are a Fine Arts Alliance member at the Leading Role, Center Stage, Director's, or Producer's level you have preferred seating in an area chosen by Mr. Johnson. Please look for the preferred seating section.

Varsity boys basketball Coach Chip McAllister will host a two-day basketball camp for elementary students on Thursday, December 27 and Friday, December 28
at Landmark. The camp runs from 8 am to 5 pm each day and the cost is $90. Please click here for more information and to print off the camp registration form. ___________
