Class News:
The first grade classes in Fairburn recently visited Cochran Mill Park to celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day and to bask in the glory of God's creation. They enjoyed a cook-out, made several crafts, and played "old-fashioned" games, including a 3 legged race! These young students returned home happy, tired, and in awe of the world God made for us.
On October 13, the Jr. Beta Club met at Palmetto's Georgia Baptist Children's Home for their second service project this year. Students and parent volunteers worked hard at bleaching fences, clearing brush, raking, and cleaning siding. Pictured from L-R in back row: Stephanie Pike, Christina Henderman, Jamiah Campbell, Kyelin Knowles, Grayson Windham, Ashton Brantley, Emma Baggett, Esther Lee, Emmy Swords, and Sponsor Mrs. Northcutt. Front row: Jackson McMath, Joey Blount, Griffin Tillman, Will O'Neal, Abby Kroner, Ginny Aulicky, Karissa McFadden, Hays Lollis, Harrison Geerlings, and Jake Milanowski. Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Milanowski, Sienna Milanowski, Hailey Byess, Mr. & Mrs. Pike, Mrs. McMath, Mrs. Cerasoli, and Mrs. Windham for their help, and to Mr. & Mrs. Kroner and Mr. & Mrs. Knowles for supplying drinks. A BIG "thank you" goes to the students for giving up their Saturday and working for the Lord.
