We anticipate a great deal of traffic but please do NOT park in the grassy area behind Fairburn First Baptist Church.

2012 Week of Prayer

Landmark's 4th Annual Great Day of Service
Fairburn Campus
October 20
8 am to 2 pm
October 15-19 is Landmark's Week of Prayer. During this week, we pray very specifically for our school and students. Each day we will email that day's prayer focus. This special week will culminate with our 4th annual Great Day of Service on Saturday, October 20 at the Fairburn campus. Parents, faculty, staff, and students will "unite" to serve as we tackle various projects around the campus. Please take a moment to view this special message from Campus Pastor Russell Aguirre. General Info:
Practice will begin on Monday, October 22 for all 5th - 12th grade students interested in the swim team. Practices are held from 3:30 to 4:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the Boundary Waters Aquatic Center in Douglasville. Transportation provided from Landmark to Boundary Waters. Wednesdays will be "dry" practice at Landmark. For more information, see the Swim Team page under Athletics on the log-in side of the website.
-The hydration test for all varsity wrestlers is Saturday, October 20 at Northgate High School. See Coach Gilkeson for more information.
-All middle school boys interested in trying out for basketball need to sign up in the SIC Monday or Tuesday of next week. Tryouts are October 30 and November 1.
-There will be a meeting during lunch on Monday, October 15 in Ms. Cochran's room for all middle school boys interested in wrestling.
-Picture orders and retakes: For those still wishing to place an order for student pictures, please mail your order form and an added $10 late fee to your total order amount to: Richards Studio P.O. Box 115 Sharpsburg GA 30277 Retakes will be 10/24 (Wed) in PTC and 11/2 (Fri) in Fairburn.

There is a new " Spiritual Life" tab on the log-in side of the school webpage. On this page you can keep up with what God is doing in life of our school and in the hearts of our students. You'll also be able to read about chapel lessons, spiritual life events in the school, and blog postings by Pastor Aguirre. It's a great way for you to stay informed and will also give you something to talk about with your kids. Deadline for early admission to University of Georgia and Georgia Tech is October 15.
The National Christian College Fair is on Tuesday, October 16th, from 10 am until noon, at Eagle's Landing Christian Academy in McDonough, Georgia. (Seniors may use a college visitation excused absence to attend.) __________________________________________
