Chiro-Health has chosen the Family Resource Center in Plymouth as the recipient of our 2015 Christmas drive. This center provides support to families throughout Sheboygan County, helping to Build Strong Families and Strong Communities. If you would like to show support you can purchase any of the items below and place them under the Chiro-Health Christmas tree.

Recipe Corner

This recipe has the colors and flavors -nutmeg- of the holidays, with guilt-free baking. Granola takes only 5 minutes to throw together and is so much better and lower in sugar than the store bought variety. You can make a big batch and eat it for breakfast with plain Greek yogurt or milk and snack on it throughout the week. For a nutritional boost, add some flax seeds to the mix.

Granola with Cranberries and Pistachios


3 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup shelled pistachios
1 Teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

In a large bowl toss oats with pistachios, nutmeg, salt and brown sugar. Stir in maple and oil to combine. Spread on a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring half-way through. Cool completely on baking sheet. Stir in cranberries.
