ISNA's "Young Professionals: Future Philanthropists" is an online series that aims at empowering young Muslim professionals with training in philanthropic studies and nonprofit leadership. Developed by the Indiana University School of Fundraising, this online series covers 8 core topics to provide participants with best practices to professionally lead mosques and nonprofit organizations.

This week's seminar entitled "Fundraising," is the fourth webinar of this program.  This webinar will identify core principles and practices essential for successful fundraising for nonprofit organizations.

Meet this Webinar's Instructor:

Dr. Tim Seiler is Director of The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and is also assistant professor of philanthropic studies in the graduate program. Dr. Seiler is an alumnus of The Fund Raising School and has been a faculty member since 1986 and the director since 1994.

He serves the nonprofit sector not only as a fundraiser, author, and teacher, but also as a board member and campaign committee member for several nonprofits and serves as a mentor to young professional fundraisers. He earned a B.A. degree in English from Saint Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Indiana, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in English from Indiana University.
