MYNA presents:
HIRA- Summer Intensive Program for Youth

MYNA works tirelessly to provide countless events throughout the year, from camps and retreats to forums and seminars. But something new is cooking at our headquarters. A revolutionary idea, yet one as old as the deen itself...MYNA invites you to our three-week summer intensive: Hira.

Hira is the name of the cave our beloved Prophet (saw) retreated to for self-reflection before leaving to transform the world. We invite you to a 21st century American-Muslim version of that cave. Come here, in the company of other youth, to learn about your deen, yourself, and the society around you. Discuss with scholars, teachers, artists, and entrepreneurs, about how they make a mark on this world while retaining their Islam, and be inspired to make your own. Meditate, as the Prophet did, on this universe, God, and yourself. And remember, the Prophet left Hira, and went on to change the world. God willing, you will leave the Hira intensive and do the same.

The first ever Hira retreat will be held in Flint, Michigan on August 1st-21st. Students will live together in newly renovated residence halls and facilities created solely for this program.

The unique curriculum will provide a foundational basis to crucial topics such as Quranic Tafsir, Fiqh, and Aqeedah with a social justice practicum incorporated in the mix. There's much to offer, and we look forward to hosting a select group of individuals this summer. Will YOU be there to witness the program of a lifetime?

ISNA is happy to announce that the Deadline for Scholarship Applications has been extended until February 15, 2014.

Do not miss this chance to apply for one of these programs!

When completing your application, please be sure to include the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR).

Our scholarships are based on merit and financial need; however, if your FAFSA SAR reports that you qualify for a Stafford Loan, why apply for a high interest fee loan?

The benefits of this loan versus a Stafford Loan:

- Interest free, Islamically developed to help Muslim students.

- Lower payments after graduation, a schedule convenient for you- Your repayment willbe used to help benefit future applicants.

- $15,000 per academic year ($7,500 for tuition, $7,500 stipend for books, living expenses, supplies, etc.)
