ISNA Urges Aid for Oklahoma Victims
The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) mourns the loss of life and shares in the grief of all who are affected by yesterday's devastating tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. ISNA urges its members and affiliates, as well as all Americans, to offer aid to those in need of emergency assistance, and to make generous contribution to relief efforts through national relief organizations such as the Red Cross and Islamic Relief, and the local Islamic centers.
ISNA urges Muslims and Americans of all faiths to pray individually and collectively for the victims and their loved ones. May God endow with patience and strength those who have lost their loved ones, and provide comfort to those who have suffered injury and loss of property.
"Our hearts go out to the victims' families, and especially to the parents of little children who lost their young lives in this natural disaster," said ISNA President Imam Mohamed Magid. "We stand by the citizens of Moore in their effort to rebuild their lives."
