About Energy Savings
Free Energy Savings Products for Illinois Public Schools

IL public schools can receive free energy-saving products, such as LED exit signs, green kitchen nozzles, occupancy sensors, CFLs and low-flow aerators.

This new Direct Install Program is available to public schools that fall within Ameren Electric, ComEd, Ameren Gas, Nicor Gas, Peoples Gas, or North Shore Gas service territories.  Funding through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Illinois Energy Office, allows the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) to supply qualifying schools with up to $5,000 of free, simple-to-install energy efficiency measures.

For more information, visit lights4learning.org/direct-install or contact Chelsea Lamar at MEEA clamar@mwalliance.org.
