2014 Fly-in and beyond....

We broke our own record. The 2014 Hood River Fly-in, the Columbia River Gorge Community and the WAAAM Air & Auto Museum enjoyed 340 airplanes as they arrived to spend the weekend at the base of Mount Hood camped on the soft green lawn of the museum. With the with stunning aircraft on display, friendly pilots, perfect weather, great food, it was a weekend to remember! 3000 aviation enthusiast enjoyed the activities on the ground and in the sky.

"Thanks for a wonderful time at the fly-in. I had the best time in 30 years. I ran into an old friend Art Knowles and his wife, I knew them back in the 70s when they lived at Justin Time airport in Texas. I use to fly my T-6 and PT-22 over there to visit when I was in my 20's and then running into them at your fly-in for the first time in 40 years. WOW! That just added to the fun". emails Bill Rogers

We have so many pictures... please like us on Facebook or just check out our nearly 200 pictures of the weekend. Facebook/WAAAMuseum

Can you imagine being a judge for all of these aircraft?

Jeremy Young once again headed the crew who looked over the craftsmanship and authenticity of each registered aircraft.

WAAAM sends a warm thank you to each pilot who made the flight to the Fly-in. You make this weekend great!

The Bogardus Trophy was presented to Russ at the 2014 Hood River Fly-in.
