Yep, we have a Caboose. Planes,Trains & Automobiles. (that's a great name for a movie!) Caboose tours this weekend at WAAAM.

What a crew. Volunteers Randy Acree, John Nesbitt, Carl Smiley really pulled off a big one. Getting a caboose moved with no tracks is a BIG job.

Our historic,
and restored marquee sign.

You cant miss it!

Many thanks to Don Durr.

He took this bull by the horns and got it done!

The 1931 Stinson W makes WAAAM its new home

Donated by Hillary Peck of  Washington. Another rare bird! It was a airliner carrying one pilot and 3 passengers and is a great fit as it brings a missing link to the museum. Volunteer Ben Davidson annualed and flew this craft to the museum.

Model T Driving School 4th class added!
Saturday September 27th is our date. If you are interested call right away. WAAAM # is 541-308-1600.

A New Road
One of our Volunteers has passed away this last week.

Our very dear friend,
Rudy Zvarichfellow volunteer and supporter is gone.

He made a difference here at WAAAM and will be greatly missed.

Rudy has a few vehicles on display and they are honored with a black bow. Among the many projects he was working on, Rudy was helping to get the Veile Automobile running again as well as keeping the Big Red Fuel Truck driving. Rudy was quiet, had a wealth of knowledge about vintage automobiles, and a thirst for information about aeroplanes.

He was a fascinating man. We hope you had the chance to meet him.

We send our thoughts and sympathy to his family and his friends.

Good Travels Dear Rudy.

Timber Kings
 Postponed at WAAAM

Discovery Channel filming is behind schedule due to weather issues on the east coast. We will keep you posted as to when the construction and filming will happen.

Timber Kings is a huge TV hit! And these famous Canadian log home and structure builders are coming to WAAAM! to build a picnic shelter.
