"It's an honor to receive the Jerry P. Colvin and Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation Award. I feel grateful for broadcasters like him and this Foundation to help pave the way for broadcasters like me to follow my dream."

What an exciting time to be a broadcaster!

Advances in technology are providing us so many new ways to inform and entertain consumers while deepening our commitment to the communities we serve.

At the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation, we see that excitement in the future broadcasters we meet every day.

Their growing passion for an industry that we hold dear is evident when you meet these students at any of the MABF-sponsored career fairs or educational events held throughout the year. We saw that excitement out in full force at this year's Michigan Student Broadcast Awards with a record number of entries in the competition.

When you have a chance, as I did this past March, to sit and talk with some of the 25 MABF student scholarship winners, you realize how fortunate we are that there are bright and enthusiastic future broadcasters eager to learn and grow right here in our own backyard.

Broadcasting students from across Michigan, from Northern Michigan University to Marysville High School, are benefiting from the support that you and your fellow broadcasters provide to the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation.

These students understand that NOW is truly an exciting time to be a broadcaster.

Join us in supporting their journeys to careers in broadcasting with a donation to the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation.

Thank you for your commitment to broadcasting's exciting future.

Founders Club Donors Make a STRONG Impact in 2015

Thanks to generous donations, endowments and continued support from Founders Club members, the MAB Foundation was honored to present 26 college scholarships ($1,000 each) and two high school scholarships ($750 each) in March (pictured above).

Click here to visit the official MABF Scholarship page and to view a list of this year's winners.

These scholarships would not be possible without the generous support from Founders Club donors! Levels start at $2,500 with larger pledges of $50,000 or more, offering an annual scholarship to a Michigan college student.

Consider creating a legacy for our industry by donating today!

Congratulations 2015 Student Award Winners!

Student winners of the 2015 Michigan Student Broadcast Awards competition received more than just a framed award for their wall - they had the valuable opportunity to meet new contacts, mentors and were able to learn alongside top broadcast professionals in the state.

Through the MAB Foundation's student awards program, participants will received an educational experience that includes judges' comments, as well as the opportunity to join hundreds of broadcasters from around the state, free of charge, at the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference (GLBC) where the awards were presented earlier this month.
General donations from people like you help us keep this program alive and free of charge to all Michigan high schools, colleges and universities. Consider joining us as we plan for the 2016 awards program by judging and/or donating today!
