Application: Lightweight foam pads along with light gauge film are an easy task for the Fusion Quickfire film feed system and the Vortex tunnel.

A current Conflex customer was looking to improve the esthetics of their light weight foam pads by shrinking them with thin gauge shrink film instead of  just bagging. The challenge was to find a tunnel that could shrink their smallest up to their largest products at low temperatures and a low air velocity that would allow the lightweight foam to pass through the tunnel without floating. The Vortex was the answer with its low temperatures and infinitely variable fan speeds.
