Join in changing the world

The hands of thousands will join together in service during Change the World weekend by working to help communities all around the world. This year Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church is offering over 15 unique serving opportunities during Change the World weekend. The idea for Change the World started back in 2010 when Ginghamsburg pastor and author Mike Slaughter wrote a book called Change the World: Recovering the Message and Mission of Jesusand United Methodist Communications' Rethink Church initiative adopted the concept. Learn more about the Miami Valley District events

Open house features boating safety
Boating Safety is our theme for this year's Camp Open House Day at all three West Ohio Camps, Otterbein, Wesley and Widewater, this Sunday, May 18 from 1-4pm. Thanks to a $30,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, all three camps have new watercraft for the 2014 summer season. Come out and visit the camps for a wagon ride, camp tours, campfire, snacks and to meet our Camp Directors and summer staff. And we will also be demonstrating our new watercraft, including Stand-Up Paddleboards at Camp Wesley. Check out our webpage at www.westohiocamps.org for camp locations and directions.
