A God-sized dream for saving lives
Bishop Palmer This year's conference will focus on blessednessMost of us will never have to worry if our children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews will be bitten by a disease-infected mosquito that would take their young life. Most of us will never have to sleep every night under a mosquito net to be protected. But, in sub-Saharan Africa millions don't have that simple assurance.

I invite members and churches in our West Ohio Conference to be a part of Imagine No Malaria's life-saving work through the Tuesday morning offering at our 2014 Annual Conference. Let's dream a God-sized dream for saving the lives of people with malaria!

Earth Day every day at church
Earth Day Green Churches (UMTV)United Methodists congregations have launched ministries across the United States that set an example of creation care. "God gave us a great gift. We should do our best to take care of it," says a member of the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, a historic United Methodist congregation in New York City. And at At Glide Memorial United Methodist Church in San Francisco, city children are putting their green thumbs to God's use by planting a garden on the church's rooftop.
