Join West Ohio's Imagine No Malaria initiative
malaria The members of the West Ohio Annual Conference have committed to saving 350,000 lives over the next 3 years as part of the denomination-wide campaign to eradicate deaths from malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. To reach our conference goal of saving all of those lives we need to raise $3.5M over 3 years.

Will your church accept an invitation to be a part of this life-saving initiative? If so, join us at one of the upcoming training events to hear more about this initiative and what you can do to be a part of saving thousands of lives. (learn more)

Be in mission at a West Ohio camp

Come out and support one of our three conference camp sites by serving missionally to maintain and enhance our camp facilities. Groups of volunteers (ages 18 and up and 13-17 with a parent) will form teams to tackle different projects at each site. Please let us know if you have any special skills or tools that you can volunteer. Needs vary by camp but might include painting, cutting trees, clearing paths, plumbing, building and use of power tools. (learn more)

Fall 2013 Equip Resource Catalog available

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said "The end is reconciliation; the end is redemption; the end is the creation of the beloved community." Dr. King, one of the many ordinary people who changed the world, believed that a "Beloved Community"  is reconciliation achieved - a profound human connectedness, a transcendent harmony and love among all people.  Our journey together is becoming the Beloved Community that Christ yearns for us to be. With that goal in mind, our Fall issue of West Ohio EQUIP Resource Catalog is now available on our West Ohio Conference website at www.westohioumc.org/equip.
