Announcement: Downtown Park Art: Artwork Unveil and Grill and Chill

The Tippecanoe County Commissioners along with the Tippecanoe County Public Art Team will host the Downtown Park Art, Grill and Chill, and Fundraiser on Monday, September 19th, 2016 from 11:30am - 2:00pm on the rooftop of the County Parking Garage (in case of rain, the event and activities will be held on the 1st floor).

The event will kick off with music and a meet and greet with the artist, Linette Bledsoe. Following the dedication of the artwork, hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, chips, cookies, and ice cream will be served up for the celebration.

This is a public event and all are invited and welcome to attend. Cash donations are encouraged with all proceeds benefiting the United Way of Greater Lafayette.

About Linette Bledsoe
Linette Bledsoe is an artist and decorative painter with expertise in acrylic and mixed media paintings. Bledsoe is an Indianapolis based artist with studios in the acclaimed Stutz Building. She is a graduate from Indiana. University Bloomington. Linette has had multiple one person and group shows throughout the state of Indiana and is represented by the White Key Gallery in Valporaiso, Indiana. The Tippecanoe County Public Art Team is a Commissioner appointed group of individuals working to increase, curate, and enhance Tippecanoe County through public works of art.
