Kim shows gets guests into the mood as she welcomes them in her stylish poodle skirt

Dear Friends of Rabbit Haven,

You did it again!  This year's auction, the Harbor Hop, beat all our expectations!  Thanks to Kati Wright and her outstanding crew at the INN at Gig Harbor who could not have been more hospitable or served more delicious food, thanks to our donors (more about that in the next article), thanks to Steve Roberts our deejay who kept us be-bopping to Happy Days style music, thanks to the volunteers and all their hard work, but most of all, thank YOU!  In spite of Noah's-ark-style weather, over 80 guests came out, had a great time, and donated for the sake of the buns.  All of us here at the Barn, the four-footed and two-footed, thank you!

Rabbit painting by Kit Jagoda We remember.....

It's always sad to say goodbye to a friend.  We remember with fondness the following special rabbits:

Boo,
Guiness,
Leia,
Peggy
Rocky

Binky happy across the rainbow bridge, dear ones, and thank you for the love you brought into our lives.

It's always Boys Night Out for Pete & Charley.  Anyone for a good game of poker?

Move over, Felix & Oscar!

Remember the play, movie and TV show,
The Odd Couple?  Well, we've got our own bachelor buddies at Rabbit Haven.  When Pete & Charlie, both elderly gents, lost their mates and were looking lonely, Sue wondered if they might bond together.  The happy result makes everybody smile.

The British Are Coming!

Her Royal Highness, queen of snuggling!

Loyal Rabbit Haven Newsletter readers know we've recently had a naming contest on eBay.  There seemed to be a common theme for a few of these.  May we introduce her majesty, Queen Victoria (well, actually just Victoria, but with those elegant English Lop ears, she just has to be royal!) and Bun, James Bun.  Just imagine, watching the new season of Downton Abbey with these beautiful Brits by your side.  Even the Dowager would approve!

Mark your calendars!

The holidays will be here
A party??? Of course Cyndi Lopper's up for it.
Buns just want to have fun!
before we know it.  So be sure to mark your calendar now for the Annual Rabbit Haven Ornament & Cookie Exchange.  It will be from 6-9 pm on Saturday, December 14 at the Barn in Gig Harbor.  Tasty cookies, yummy beverages, good friends, and RABBITS!  What a wonderful way to celebrate the season.  Watch for more details.
