A Letter From our Director

PELC is back into full swing and our playgrounds are filled with happy, active children and our classrooms are welcoming, exciting and fun. As I walk through the classrooms and around campus, I hear the happy sounds of children playing, sharing, laughing and discovering.  PELC is a great place to be! 

Hot Shots, our sports-based motor development program for 3's, 4's, and 5 year olds starts Sept. 12.  Students love Mr. Dave as his classes are active, fun and good for the children.  If you would like to sign up, you can pick up a form in your child's classroom.

This year Mr. Kyle will be bringing music to all of our PELC classes every other Friday.  Even our infants will be singing and dancing to the songs that are expressly for them.  So far our children are thoroughly enjoying Mr. Kyle and we are happy to welcome him to PELC.

We're off to a great start and I am delighted that our children are making excellent adjustments to school.  As I visit each classroom, I am amazed and thrilled to see so many busy, happily engaged children with excellent, committed, loving teachers who create such outstanding learning environments and programs for our children.

Sunshine Room Newsletter Sept 2016
 
We would like to take this opportunity to officially say, "Welcome back to school!" It's been so nice to meet you all over the past few weeks, and we look forward to getting to know you better. We teachers are so excited to be back in the Sunshine Room and look forward to a fabulous school year together!
 
We are learning our way around the classroom and we will jump right into September with the following themes:
All About Me
Friends
Feelings
The Five Senses
Colors and Shapes
Nursery Rhymes
 
This month we are going to learn all about the letters: A, C, E, F, M, S, Z and begin reviewing numbers 1-10.
 
As a reminder, there is no school on September 5, Labor Day.  Please continue to check the parent board and your child's file for other upcoming events or important information.
 
Hot Shots starts Monday, Sept. 12.  If you are interested in this optional motor skill program please sign up now!
