A Letter From our Director

PELC is back into full swing and our playgrounds are filled with happy, active children and our classrooms are welcoming, exciting and fun. As I walk through the classrooms and around campus, I hear the happy sounds of children playing, sharing, laughing and discovering.  PELC is a great place to be!

Hot Shots, our sports-based motor development program for 3's, 4's, and 5 year olds starts Sept. 12.  Students love Mr. Dave as his classes are active, fun and good for the children.  If you would like to sign up, you can pick up a form in your child's classroom.

This year Mr. Kyle will be bringing music to all of our PELC classes every other Friday.  Even our infants will be singing and dancing to the songs that are expressly for them.  So far our children are thoroughly enjoying Mr. Kyle and we are happy to welcome him to PELC.

We're off to a great start and I am delighted that our children are making excellent adjustments to school.  As I visit each classroom, I am amazed and thrilled to see so many busy, happily engaged children with excellent, committed, loving teachers who create such outstanding learning environments and programs for our children.

Welcome to PELC!

Twinkle Star Newsletter, Sept 2016

It's wonderful to see that the children are settling in and are quickly engaging in activities that make them happy while they are at school.   Your support in making a smooth separation by staying just for a few minutes to help them settle in was a huge success.

Please take the time to enjoy and discuss our daily schedule with your child - it is posted outside our classroom each day.  We also hope you enjoy their beautiful artwork displayed in our classroom.

Thank you for labeling their diapers on the bottom, labeling their backpacks, and returning the apples with their pictures for our family tree.

Our themes this month will be: Feelings, Manners, and Friendship.

We look forward to a great school year filled with lots of smiling faces and blossoming friendships!  We especially thank you for entrusting us with the care of your beautiful children.

Reminder: school is closed Monday, Sept. 5 for Labor Day.
