The WRAF Radio family wishes you and your family a very Happy 4th of July. We hope you will be able to celebrate the freedoms God has bestowed upon us with a fabulous fireworks show. Below are some area celebrations to consider.  If you are not able to attend here's one from Stone Mountain you may enjoy.

Blairsville Independence Day Fireworks

Brasstown Valley Resort Firework Show 
At dark at the Golf Course at Brasstown Valley Resort 
Bring blankets and lawn chairs and camp out on Highway 76 for fireworks. No personal coolers or pets, please. Free admission.

Buford/Gainesville Light Up the Lake
Lake Lanier Islands 
10 a.m.-until  

All day live entertainment, games and family fun will precede the fireworks extravaganza. The park opens at 10 a.m. and the fireworks are scheduled for 9:40 p.m. 770-932-7200

  

Dahlonega Family 4th of July 
Historic Downtown Square

Activities include: the Dahlonega Firecracker 5K, Pet Show, Patriotic Ceremony at the Gold Museum, reading of the U.S. Constitution at the courthouse, antique auto show, watermelon cutting with the Boy Scouts and live music. Parade begins at 5 p.m., fireworks begin at dark. 770-864-3711

 

Gainesville American Legion Annual Fireworks
8:30 p.m. at Laurel Park
Join the Gainesville Chapter of the American Legion for the annual fireworks display. $5 per car.

Helen Annual Fireworks at Dusk

Main Street Wells Fargo Red, White and Blue Festival

Thursday, July 4 - 5:00 PM until 9:30 PM A barrage of colors illuminates the sky every 4th of July in downtown Greenville for the annual AT&T Red, White and Blue. As one of the largest fireworks displays in the area, the celebration features live music, food and a variety of family activities.
