Wow, four days, just four days from now we'll all be celebrating. Celebrating the birth of our Savior and celebrating the success of reaching children in our listening area through Angel Tree. It has been amazing to see God's goodness this year and the generosity of you to the kids with a mom or dad in prison has been evident.

It's been great for me, personally, to have the opportunity to see so many from our listening area share Christmas with these kids. I'm so encouraged by the heart for ministry I've seen and it's a reminder to me that this heart for ministry is the single most important factor that makes our partnership with Angel Tree work. As I have read the stories, passionately sharing the need of these hurting kids, we've seen tremendous results, as much as 3x's over goal!

Jade, Brandy, Natalya and Carlos - Keeping the bond alive between parent and child 

 

For four very long years, Jade and her two sisters Brandy, Natalya, along with her little brother Carlos waited for their mommy to come home from prison.  

 

Although their dad was doing the best that he could, they really missed those hugs from mom.  

 

But one thing they didn't miss was Christmas. Every year, thanks for folks like you who called 855-50-ANGEL and gave, these kids received a gift from their mom, and a reminder of what Christmas is really all about.  

 

Their mother, Stephanie told us that Angel Tree, alleviated a little of the pain and that the gifts at Christmas time keep the bond she had with her kids alive.
