MOUSE AND RABBIT ANTIBODIES TO CAPSAICIN RECEPTOR

Mouse monoclonal antibody to rat capsaicin            Rabbit antibody to human capsaicin
receptor (VR1; TRPV1), [Clone BS397]: IgG                receptor (531-541): whole serum

Figure 1. Western blot of Capsaicin Receptor in rat PC12 cell lysates (80 ug/lane) with mouse anti-TrpV1 antibody (Cat# M-1714-100). The monoclonal antibody (2 µg/mL) detects TrpV1 protein at 95-100 kDa. The single band is TrpV1-specific, as the immunizing peptide abolishes TrpV1-immunoreactivity. Figure 2. Immunohistochemical staining of rat spinal cord with rabbit anti-TrpV1 antibody (Cat# R-053-100). This antiserum shows superb specificity for capsaicin receptor and optimal performance in immunohistochemical applications for human and rodent samples. R-076-100
Rabbit antibody to human capsaicin receptor (608-621): whole serum (R-076-100)
Immunohistochemical detection of capsaicin receptor in small neurons in rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) using rabbit anti-TrpV1 antibody (Cat# R-076-100, 1:2000 dilution). The rat tissue was prepared by perfusion fixation with 4% formaldehyde containing 10% saturated picric acid in buffered saline. Frozen sections (40 µm) were used and the secondary antibody was conjugated with HRP. Journal reference: Fagelskiold AJ et al 2012, Islets. PMID: 22274646
