URGE THE HOUSE TO VOTE FOR TRADE PROMOTION AUTHORITY

Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) is needed to finalize free trade agreements, such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership, that boost U.S. pork exports and supports millions of jobs throughout the country. Now that the Senate has approved it, the House must act quickly to pass TPA. (Click here to urge your representative to vote for TPA.)

Farmland is coming to the NC Museum of History

A free screening of Farmland will be held at the NC Museum of History in downtown Raleigh this Friday, May 29th at 7:00 pm.

Farmland is a documentary film about agriculture in the United States that was funded by the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance. Award-winning director James Moll traveled across the country to meet six farmers and ranchers and have them tell their stories about their experiences in and views on modern agriculture.

The movie will be followed by a question and answer session with some North Carolina farmers moderated by Lisa Prince of "Flavors NC" on UNC-TV.

Find out more about the screening and the museum's efforts to share the story of North Carolina agriculture at: http://feedthedialoguenc.com/2015/05/26/history-of-the-harvest-farmland-screening-at-nc-museum-of-history/

The NC Museum of History is at: 5 East Edenton Street - Raleigh, NC 27601.
