Emerging Trends in Payment Reform

--On August 27th, Catalyst Center staff presented "Emerging Trends in Payment Reform" at the 2015 Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Workforce Academy, hosted by the National MCH Workforce Development Center. This presentation expands the Catalyst Center's work on payment reform and children with special health care needs. Review the slides to learn about the increasing emphasis on value in health care, frameworks such as the Triple Aim, and selected value-based purchasing strategies. They are an excellent companion to the Catalyst Center's policy brief The Affordable Care Act and Value-Based Purchasing: What's at Stake for Children with Medical Complexity?

Inequities in Insurance Coverage and Financing of Care among Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN): Family Perspectives
--We need your help reaching out to families of CSHCN who face inequities in coverage and financing. This includes families of CSHCN who represent:

Families of color
Immigrants and families from diverse cultural backgrounds
Those who speak a language other than English and
Those with low income
