Colorado Employment Verification Form
Federal immigration regulations require employers to verify evidence of employment eligibility for each new employee. Colorado also requires employers to retain documents and complete an "Affirmation of Legal Work Status" for each employee within 20 days of their date of hire.  This form has been revised effective 9/6/12. Employers need to use the new form for employees hired after 10-1-2012.  The revised form can be found by clicking here.
