MadgeTech Data Loggers will Retain Data, Even if the Battery Fails?

Recovering data after a battery failure isn't a problem with MadgeTech data loggers. Readings are stored within non-volatile EEPROM or flash memory. If the batteries die while logging, most if not all of the data will remain intact. Because the data logger electronics can not operate properly with a dead battery, there may be some invalid data, usually at the end of the logging cycle. Once fresh batteries are inserted, the logged data can simply be downloaded as normal to a computer
