Don't miss HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical!

Rock music, counter-culture, and the sexual revolution take center stage in HAIR, the first and most successful rock musical of all time.

"'Hair' really broke down what was possible for musical theater to do," said Thuman, the artistic director for Seattle's Sound Theatre Company who's directed a number of shows at BPA, most recently 'The Who's Tommy' in October 2012. "What it says about race, language, sexuality, politics, the social movements of that time compared to now, make it just as relevant as it was then." - Michael Moore, Kitsap Sun

Choreographer Noah Duffy said "'Hair' - even a half century after its debut - still is unique in its boundless possibilities. It's not like any other musical." - Michael Moore, Kitsap Sun

Duffy also said, "There's a real power in a group of people collectively deciding what it is that they stand for," he added. "I think absolutely that 'Hair,' in its time, kind of redefined what theater could say and by extension who it would say it to." - Luciano Marano, Bainbridge Island Review
