Greetings!

Inspired by true stories from our region's history, "An American Dream" is set during World War II and explores the lives of two Puget Sound women: a Japanese American facing internment and a German Jewish immigrant preoccupied with those she left behind. A moderated audience discussion will follow the opera. Appropriate for ages 10 and older.

Admission to BPA's working community preview is by donation only. No reservations or ticketing - admission is first-come, first-served beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the BPA lobby. Parking for this performance will be very limited due to an adjacent event. Please arrive early to ensure plenty of time to park and reserve your seats. Listen to the BCB Podcast below:

Island Theatre Ten-Minute Play Festival is August 21 & 22 at BPA
The death of a parent, a mysterious journey, conversations beyond the grave, the anguish of writing a ten-minute play and, of course, romance are among the themes of Island Theatre's fourth annual Ten-Minute Play Festival offerings. Out of forty-seven play submissions from both experienced and emerging Kitsap County playwrights, nine plays were selected to be performed by Island Theatre directors and actors.

NEW FOR 2015! In response to feedback from playwrights, directors, actors, and audience members, fewer plays were chosen this year so that each can be performed twice - once on each evening.

By donation, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
