20th Anniversary Season with The EDGE
The EDGE Improv has performed to sell-out crowds regularly at BPA for two decades, and this season marks their 20th anniversary. On the first Saturday of each month, the troupe presents an ingeniously improvised evening of on-the-spot comedy, all from audience suggestions. The troupe's riotous antics have earned a devoted community of followers, and have inspired rave reviews and commentary from audience and troupe members alike.

"The EDGE is like therapy, but cheaper." - Ken Ballenger, troupe member

November 1

The EDGE at The Movies
Troupe member John Ellis encourages patrons to come early to share their memories of The EDGE: "Please remind us of that one scene you just loved with us on camera, so these memories can be captured!"

Some of these interviews will become part of "The EDGE at The Movies," the opening-night film at Celluloid Bainbridge on November 14.

BPA Gallery: "Refined Raw"
Exhibit runs throughout November 2014

Stop by the BPA Gallery in November for an exhibit of abstract paintings by Amos Edwards. Refined raw is a mixed-medium process created on Bainbridge Island, and this collection features elements reminiscent of encaustic and glass work, oil, and watercolor. The nuanced combination of color, texture, and depth of focus encourages viewers to travel off the path of the linear and meander the realm of the visceral...through time and the collective unconscious where words can't reach. The pieces are living and will subtly patina over time, becoming richer with age and bearing witness to our lives. View more of the artist's work online.
