Romancing the Buddha - 46 Minute Film About Buddhism & Dealing With Adversity

Romancing the Buddha is a film of the inspiring multimedia stage adaptation of Mike Lisagor's best-selling book, Romancing the Buddha (Middleway Press - amazon.com). Funded by a grant from the National MS Society and adapted and directed by renowned playwright Steven Fogell, it is an entertaining introduction to Nichiren Buddhism as Mike describes how he and Trude, his wife of 44 years, have dealt with her serious illness (MS), his depression, raising two daughters and finding hope and happiness in this challenging world. Mike has performed the play to a full-house (250+) at Bainbridge Performing Arts as well as Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Washington, D.C.
