All-star cast of Northwest Singers

Rachel DeShon, soprano, winner of Marvin Hamlisch's Search for a Star, has performed with Seattle Symphony, Boston Symphony POPS!, Seattle Opera, Teatro ZinZanni, Pittsburgh Symphony. Tenor John Coons has performed as a soloist with the Seattle Opera, Skagit Opera, PORTOpera, the Boston Symphony POPS, the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Bellevue Ballet. Mezzo-soprano Sonia Perez has performed as a soloist with Seattle Opera, Chautauqua Opera, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Brooklyn Opera Orchestra. Despite being an Early Music specialist, Thomas Thompson's most recent project has been with Seattle Opera, touring with and premiering three operas by local composer Eric Banks.

The BSO kicks off its 41st season with a NIGHT AT THE OPERA! Come hear your favorite overtures, arias, duets, ensemble numbers and more with an all-star cast of Northwest singers. From Mozart to Verdi, the BSO will perform the greatest works from the operatic repertory.

BSO announces 2014 Young Artist Concerto Competition Winner
Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the 2014 winner of the BSO's 2014 Young Artist Concerto Competition - Christopher Son Richardson, piano, age 15 from Lake Forest Park, who performed Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 54, 1st movement. Richardson will perform Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 54, 1st movement in the BSO's concert "The Pines of Rome" on February 22 & 23, 2014. Read more.
