MARIANNE MARTINOLI

Winner of the BSO's 2013 Young Artist Competition, Marianne Martinoli is currently the concertmaster with both The Seattle Youth Symphony and The Academy Chamber Orchestra. She recently won The 2012 Bushell Concerto Competition and made her solo debut with Seattle Symphony at the December 2012 Annual Holiday Gala.

BSO HISTORY

The Bainbridge Orchestra was founded in 1972 by the late David Pence, when the Island's population was less than 13,000. It was adopted under the BPA umbrella in the spring of 1993 and changed its name to the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra in 2006.

WORLD PREMIERE
Left Brain-Right Brain by the internationally-renowned composer Brett Kroening was specifically commissioned for the BSO's 40th Anniversary Season.

THE PROGRAM

Don't miss the BSO's season finale with Carl Maria von Weber's Overture and March from Turandot, Samuel Barber's Essay No. 1, op. 12, Julius Conus' Concerto for Violin in E minor featuring the BSO's 2013 first-prize Young Artist Competition winner Marianne Martinoli, the world premiere of Brett Kroening's Left Brain-Right Brain, and Paul Hindemith's 20th century masterpiece, Symphonic Metamorphosis.
