Save the dates for Lisa Loomer's attention-grabbing play, Distracted, March 8 - 24 at BPA!

THE DIRECTOR

Director Kate Carruthers has been active in the local theater community since landing on Bainbridge in 1982. She was named Best Director by the Kitsap Sun for Private Eyes in BPA's 2011 - 2012 Season. Her extensive BPA credits also include The Philadelphia Story, The Grapes of Wrath, 'Art,' Anton in Show Business, Arcadia, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and more.

THE STORY

What's wrong with nine-year-old Jesse? He can't sit still, he curses, he raps, and you can't get him into - or out of - his pajamas. His teacher thinks it's ADD. His dad says he's just a boy. Mama's on a quest for answers. Lisa Loomer's witty and thoughtful comic drama (or dramatic comedy) asks all of us, "Are we so tuned into our 24/7 info-rich world that we've tuned out what really matters?"
