Starting this January 2016 through December 31st, 2016, we will embark on a plan (campaign) to identify all the black businesses in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara County, San Mateo County and Alameda County).
This campaign is designed to be a FUN campaign in that every time someone introduces a black owned business not previously known by the black chamber, their name will be included in a monthly drawing for prizes, special offers, etc.
And at the end of the year everyone who has introduced us to a new black owned business will have an opportunity for a vacation for 2, cash $$$ and even more prizes.
All of this for just helping us identify black businesses in Silicon Valley.

Human Traffic Issue -
Businesses Can View the Super Bowl as an Opportunity to Financially Benefit and to Combat Human Trafficking
Sharan Dhanoa, Coordinator
South Bay Coalition to End Human Trafficking
With the Super Bowl arriving in Santa Clara in less than a month, businesses are preparing to benefit from the influx of patrons coming to the Bay Area to celebrate the event. It is anticipated the hospitality industry will see drastic increases in the number of patrons and will likely accommodate this influx by increasing staff, with some employers subcontracting out.
As with most opportunities for financial gain, there are groups looking to benefit through criminal activity. (read more)
