Principal's Message | This evening is our Walnut Creek School District music festival at Las Lomas High School beginning at 7 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to see all elementary bands and all WCI bands in one performance. It is also a great way to hear the progression of music talent students achieve when they stay in the program all through their years in the WCSD. We hope you can make it.
Next week will be Open House at WCI from 6 - 7:45 pm. There is no formal program, classrooms will be open during these times to see all the excellent student work that has been happening all year.
Remember there is no school this Monday, May 25th, in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. Have a safe and relaxing three day weekend.

Two weeks ago, an amazing group of WCI parents hosted a Cinco De Mayo party with proceeds from ticket sales going to the WCI PTA! Thank you so much to the following families for helping to put on this great event for the WCI community: Jenny & Mike Crepeau, Kerri & Allie Metcalf, Erinn & Jeff Johnson, Tiffany & Matt Lipelt, Traci & David Beeby, Michelle & Rick Olson, Karly & Steve Wienker, Susan & Paul Lisi, Amy & Mike Borke, and especially to Liz & Darren Schleth for opening their home. It's families like these that make WCI a special place - thank you!

Boxtops for Education
|
There is still plenty of time before the end of the school year to have your student drop off those box top coupons in the library. It would be great to have a full receptacle! Also, for those online shoppers, many retailers include the box top coupons with their merchandise. You can go on the Box Tops for Education website for a list of those retailers. Just another way to get those coupons! As always, Anne at shepwoods@comcast.net thanks everyone for their continuing support on behalf of the WCI library. More box tops = more money for the library!!
