Honorary Service Awards Nominations

Do you know someone who has gone the extra mile for the WCI community this year? If so, it's time to nominate that person for an Honorary Service Award! PTA Honorary Service Awards recognize those members of our school community who really make a difference in the lives of the students at WCI.  If you know of a parent, teacher, staff member, or other community member who regularly goes above and beyond, they deserve this recognition. Either complete a nomination form and return it to the school's main office, or simply email PTA Historian Aimee Moss at [email protected] with your nomination. Be sure to include both the nominee's name and why you think they deserve to be recognized. Nominations are due by Monday, February 9.

Walnut Blvd Safety Trail

Hello parents! One year ago Lucia Clymer was struck by a truck while walking home along Walnut Blvd (between Homestead Ave. and Sierra Dr.). She was badly injured and we are trying to prevent further injuries or fatalities. Hundreds of kids walk this stretch to school, and hundreds more are driven to school along this stretch. We need your help to build a kid's safety trail to improve safety for pedestrians AND drivers.  Click here for more information and to donate.
