President's Message
|
Last week, Mr. Cannon said a special thank you to all of our WCI PTA Annual Fund Donors for donating to the PTA this year. After a vote at the November PTA meeting, PTA was able to use the money collected through the Annual fund to help purchase important technology upgrades as well as pay for courtyard landscaping and critical staff development endeavors. I would just like to add my thanks to the many WCI families who donated to the PTA Annual Fund this year - we couldn't do it without you! Our next PTA meeting is just 3 weeks away on Wednesday, February 19th at 7:00pm. At this meeting, we will be hearing from our Superintendent, Dr. Patty Wool, who will speak about the school district budget. In addition, we will hear the recommendations of the PTA Nominating Committee for the 2014-2015 PTA Executive Board. All are welcome to attend! Lastly, 8th grade parents, save the date for our March PTA meeting - March 19th at 7:00pm. At this meeting, Matt Campbell, Las Lomas Principal, will be joining us to answer your questions about Las Lomas. You won't want to miss it! Have a great week! Julie Gibson
