Introducing Another Member of the FSS Team
Meet Ed Rede of our
San Francisco location.
How long have you been with FSS?
"I began working with FSS in 1998 when Ron and I moved to Dallas to open a new store there. After a couple of years, I left FSS to work as an Event Producer, and then as a Prop Fabricator. When FSS gave us a chance to move back to the S.F. Bay Area in '06, I came back to the company.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
"The San Francisco location has given me an opportunity to use my skills as a carpenter and painter. I enjoyed giving the store a 'makeover': painting, replacing the lighting, and building new fixtures and display units."
What are your interests outside the workplace?
"I spend some of my 'leisure' time building props and sets for community theater and special events. I also paint murals and re-purpose material to build unique sculpture."
